The organization supports schools, dormitories, and health posts to help foster and protect orphaned and vulnerable children. While boarding at the schools, orphaned children and those who must travel long distances to attend class receive schooling, housing, clothes, meals, and a very small amount of spending money. They have access to healthcare and live in an environment with good sanitation. These types of initiatives are helping to improve literacy rates, quality of life, and opportunities for people living in the Afar Region.
